Civil Engineer (All levels)

Our firm is seeking a full-time, civil engineer to perform engineering duties such as planning, designing, surveying, and overseeing construction of projects within Yuma, AZ and its surrounding communities. Candidate must have an engineering degree and an EIT Certification. PE Certification and experience are preferred. This position requires basic knowledge of Autocad and Civil 3D.

Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist (All levels)

Our firm is seeking a full-time, highly organized, self directed and motivated person with a reliable work ethic to join our team. Candidate must have the ability to analyze problems, conduct research, and prepare technical reports. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong scientific or engineering background. A bachelor's degree in Engineering/Geology/Chemistry/Biology or related field is required. The preferred candidate will also have demonstrated experience in sampling techniques, remediation strategies, and environmental regulations (CERCLA/RCRA/UST).

Construction Superintendent/On-Site Inspector

Our firm is seeking a full-time experienced Construction Superintendent/On-Site Inspector to perform as a Site Superintendent, a Quality Control Manager, and a Site Safety and Health Officer. Experience in heavy equipment operation and vertical construction is a plus. Duties may include on-site inspections, project supervision, daily/weekly reporting, scheduling, QC reporting, and safety program enforcement. A minimum of three to five years of experience is preferred.

Senior I Technical Editor

Our firm is seeking a full-time, highly organized, self-directed, and motivated person with a reliable work ethic to join our team. Candidate must perform review of written materials to ensure that the text is clear and concise and revise it for clarity, grammar, punctuation, spelling, style and content and format documents for clarity during the document review process. Offer comments to improve the product and edit technical information and make suggestions to writers and complete the final review. Perform proposal and presentation review and proofreading to ensure that documents contain minimal errors, are polished, professional and effective. Additional desired skills are preparation of templates for document production and style guides. Duties may include: word processing; participating in project meetings; and management of schedules using MS Project and other scheduling tools. Extensive software skills (e.g., MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) are required, as well as excellent written and strong communication skills. Must be extremely detail oriented. A minimum of fifteen years’ experience is required, and Navy/Marine Corps experience is preferred. Senior II Project Administrator

Candidate must perform project administrative and program management office support activities. Duties may include word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations; document assembly and distributing reports to clients; collecting operational data on daily activities; extracting and preparing data for database entry; participating in project meetings, recording audio files and completing minutes; and gathering statistical information. Extensive software skills (e.g., MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) are required, as well as Internet research abilities, and excellent written and strong communication skills. BIM Coordinator (Yuma)

Our firm is seeking a full-time, experienced BIM/CAD Coordinator to join our team of experts, responsible for providing our experienced team with technological leadership on a wide range of projects. Revit/CAD coordinators are key to keeping the firm coordinated and productive. We are looking for that unique individual with a passion for design and Revit/CAD expertise to be a member of our team. The position entails the development and maintenance of our BIM/CAD libraries, templates, and standards, as well as minor IT support.

The ideal candidate is an Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Designer who is also a CAD+Revit expert to be our in-house BIM coordinator. This position will be responsible for refining and updating all office & project-type templates, families, and libraries as well as providing active and direct assistance to Revit/CAD project teams. This person will also develop processes and on-going in-house training to individuals and groups with skillsets ranging from Revit/CAD novices to intermediate users with special emphasis on best-practices and personal lessons learned. We anticipate that this position will divide time between participating as an active project contributor and providing firm-wide Revit leadership, assistance and support.

Responsibilities: 

Develops and updates system-wide BIM/CAD libraries with appropriate graphics and notation.

Develops and maintains NEI’s and client-specific standards (CAD, File Management, etc.)

Develops and drafts architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.

Contributes to the documentation, dissemination, and monitoring of standards, best practices and industry advancements.

Participates in occasional team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination, scheduling, and technical concerns.

Responsible for providing/sourcing Revit/CAD training through a combination of onsite, remote and/or online training courses – geared toward making most effective use of Revit in the architectural and MEP design process.

Conduct periodic intra-office coordination meetings relating to Revit/CAD.

Participate in project kick-off meetings to identify tasks and issues relating to project teams and collaboration; identify and resolve project specific issues in setting up the Revit model. Establish project Revit/CAD system for all new projects with the team leaders.

Research developments in the industry to “keep ahead of the curve” so that all of our Revit users have the appropriate tools & skillsets to be productive.

Requirements / Qualifications:  3+ years in the Architect, Engineer, Contractor (AEC) industry as a designer, BIM Coordinator, or similar role; Extensive knowledge of Revit; Expert in AutoCAD; Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
