For the past 20 years, Shay Oil has depended on Nicklaus to address the complex issues associated with owning and operating underground fuel storage tanks under regulatory oversight. The wide variety of services provided to Shay Oil include activities associated with the cleanup of petroleum contaminated soil and groundwater, including: environmental site characterizations, development of corrective action plans, installation and operation of remediation systems, quarterly/semi-annual groundwater sampling and periodic reporting of all activities to the ADEQ, completion of State Assurance Fund (SAF) reimbursement packages and intensive coordination with ADEQ.
