Nicklaus has provided Installation Restoration Program support to Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton under contract to NAVFAC SW that has included nine unique tasks, including work at six unique sites. The primary focus of this project has been the delineation of 1,2,3-TCP within  22/23 Area groundwater. Delineation activities have included the use of DPT/CPT to provide high level continuous geologic data along with groundwater samples at 20 foot depth intervals. The work to date has provided a much clearer understanding of the distribution of 1,2,3-TCP and will be invaluable for the next phase of the project that will include treatment.
