Engineering
Our firm is seeking highly organized, self directed and motivated persons with a reliable work ethic to fill the following positions currently available within our established and progressive engineering firm based Yuma, AZ. registered or eligible engineers
Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as municipal planning, transportation engineering, railroads, airports, bridges, channels, dams, irrigation projects, water and sewage systems, waste disposal units, pipelines, power plants, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, and foundation analysis.
Requirements - Bachelor in Science in job related area, 5 years job related area, 5 years job realated experience with increasing levels of responsibility, science and mathematical applications, complex problem solving, critical thinking, judgement and decision making, negotiation, experience in CADD technologies, MS Office.
registered land surveyor
Plans, organizes, and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in surveying earth's surface to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining or other purposes. Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys. Writes legal descriptions, certifies legal descriptions, certifies Record of Survey plats, works with public on surveying problems, i.e. right-of-way abutments, legal access, etc. Final reviews on proposed right-of-way projects, abandonments, dedications, etc.
Requirements - RLS, LSIT or Nicet Certified. Authorized to practice professionally in Arizona with three years or more experience as a Registered Land Surveyor preferred. Must have and maintain a valid AZ driver's license.
Civil CADD Draftsman
Utilizes software and modeling programs to design and produce civil and landscape planning and construction documents from conceptual phase through construction phase and provide support to various divisions within the firm.
Requirements - Community college and/or Vocational school degree with study in job related area, 2 years job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility, knowledge of AutoCAD 2006 or newer, MS Office.
Environmental Professional
Knowledge of sampling techniques and technical writing skills required. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science preferred.
